Permanent Sheet metal Tradesman – 4 Day Week - $40 + ph

Our client is a well established, family run business that’s been operating for over 50 years, known for quality work, modern equipment and a great reputation.

You’ll be working in a clean, well set up workshop using the latest tech including fibre laser cutting, CNC pressing and rolling equipment, producing everything from detailed custom pieces through to heavy industrial components.

What’s on offer:

• Full time permanent role from day one
• $40 – $42ph depending on experience
• 4 day working week (long weekends every week)
• Overtime available on Fridays
• Modern workshop with up to date machinery and systems
• Variety of work – no repetitive production

The work:

• Sheetmetal fabrication across stainless, aluminium and mild steel
• Working from drawings to produce high quality components
• Operating press brakes, rollers and assisting with laser cut assemblies
• General workshop fabrication, forming and finishing
• Working on a mix of industrial, commercial and custom projects

What we’re looking for:

• Trade qualified sheetmetal worker
• Strong fabrication skills and ability to read drawings
• Experience with CNC press, folding or rolling highly regarded
• Pride in workmanship – this is quality over quantity
